Monorail Mark I

At a special signing event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland on July 17th, 2009, the Disney Company released Olszewski's Monorail Mark I Attraction piece for the Disneyland Main Street, U.S.A. miniature collection.

Monorail Mark I features include:

• Removable Monorail Mark I sculpture.
• Sculpture details include clear windows to see in front and back.
• Magnets used to hold Monorail onto rails fixed to the columns. 
• The columns feature attraction posters.
• Lighting switch turned on and off by trash can located on the right front

Issue Price:  $95

Measurements of the Sculpture and Base:  8" wide x 3 7/8" Deep x 3 1/2" High. 

Measurements of the Monorail itself:  approximately 6 1/2" L x 1/2"W x 5/8"T.

Special Note:  The Monorail itself can be removed and placed on the Monorail Extension Kit which is sold by Olszewski Studios for those who have the Disneyland Platform.  This kit allows for placement of the stantions across the width of the platform in front of the Disneyland Train Station and the entrance to the Park.

There were two versions for the release of The Monorail Mark I sculpture:  An Annual Passholder version which is limited to an edition size of 1000 and an Open Edition which was marked "First Edition" for the first 12 months of production.
