Indian Scout and Buffalo

This is an interpretation in miniature of a bronze figurine sculpted in Paris by Isidore Bonheur, circa 1880.  Intrigued and inspired by the European tours of Buffalo Bill's wild west show, Bonheur cast the original in bronze approximately 19 1/2 inches in height.

The studio interpretation at 1 5/8 inches captures all of Bonheur's wide-eyed Parisian wonderment.
